Born on January 25, 1999, in the vibrant city of Colorado Springs, Co. DAngelo LaVell Dawson, known by his stage name “K I D” is a talented multi-genre recording artist. K I D's life was a whirlwind of occurrences navigating through the treacherous waters of substance abuse, experimentation, and encounters with the law, However, amidst the chaos, a glimmer of hope emerged within the confines of a prison cell. Being incarcerated for 9 months helped find him solace in the act of creation, channeling emotions and past experiences into the art of rap. Despite the hurdles spread along his path, K I D has achieved remarkable milestones in his music career. From opening for acclaimed artists like @Lli2z , @LilRonnyMothaF, and @ShordieShordie, to clutching victories in Rip The Mic’s first competition in Oklahoma City with his song "Reflections”. influenced by artists like Juice WRLD and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, K I D’s melodic rap style transcends mere entertainment, serving as a testament to resilience and self-discovery.
